Example Cases:
These cases are a small examples of the types of cases and matters we handled. This is not an exhaustive list and we have simple brief descriptions. We do not list the actual case names due to client confidentiality. We provide a generic case description for illustrative purposes as we take our duty to clients extremely serious. What greater confidential relationship exists in this country besides that of an attorney and his client? What greater sin is there than to breach that relationship? Although, many of our clients are well known and many of the cases we have been involved in have made the news, it is our approach not to list those here. Also, many times settlements of actual cases are confidential due to the requirements of a settlement agreement. As another example for using generic descriptions, Walt Disney could not have purchased so many orange groves in central Florida had his attorney's not kept the confidentiality. |

Trucking Accident-Wrongful Death; Jackson Mississippi. Our client's husband was stepping out of his cab in the emergency lane after his truck had broken down. Our client's husband had previously placed appropriate flares and warning signals behind his truck. Another truck came along the expressway and sideswiped our client's husband, decapitating him. We were able to obtain a lifelong multi-million dollar structured settlement for our client and her children to take care of them for the rest of the lives. -Top- Trucking Accident-Serious Injuries; Lawrenceville Georgia. Our client was driving on a four lane road when a tractor-trailer pulled over and straddled the roadway. Our client hit the back of the tractor trailer and ended up with serious injuries and hospitalized for several months. After a thorough investigation, we were able to prove that our client could not see the tractor trailer because it occurred early in the morning before dawn and the tractor trailer's vehicle lights were out, causing our client not to be able to see the trailer in the road. This resulted in a confidential substantial settlement after serious litigation on behalf of our client. -Top- Trucking Accident-Wrongful Death; Conyers Georgia. Our clients' son was engaged for a paving contractor on an interstate highway. The defendant came through in a dump truck, after leaving his load, at a high rate of speed. The defendant ignored the fact that our clients' son was in a work zone and ran over him, killing him instantly. We were able to take the case to mediation where a substantial settlement was negotiated on behalf of our clients for the wrongful death of their son. -Top- Mechanical Failure Motorcycle; Atlanta Georgia. Our client was paralyzed when he lost control of his motorcycle. After thorough inspection of the motorcycle, we discovered that the brake pads that had been installed by the motorcycle dealer were, in fact, the wrong pads. We were able to show that the pads resulted in the brakes becoming too hot and causing our client to lose control of his motorcycle. After heated discovery, we were able to settle for a substantial sum of money on behalf of our client. The unique part of this case was the litigation partner took the motorcycle home and did his own inspection. The "experts" could find nothing wrong and after careful review it was discovered that the brake pads were wrong. -Top- Vehicle Rollover-Serious Injuries; Fayetteville Georgia. Our client was involved in a single car automobile accident when her sports utility vehicle flipped and rolled over. She was seriously injured. As a result, we were able to prove, through expert testimony, that the rollover was the result of manufacturing defects of the vehicle. Accordingly, we reached a confidential settlement with the automobile manufacturer on behalf of our client to pay her for all of her damages and attorney's fees.-Top- Automobile Accident-Road Defect-Wrongful Death; Decatur Georgia. We were able to obtain a substantial sum of money against the Department of Transportation for serious injuries and wrongful death on behalf of our client and his estate. Our client was being a good Samaritan when he got out on the expressway to help another party that was injured in an automobile accident. A drunk driver came along behind him, seriously injuring our client and several others. We were able to obtain a substantial sum of money on behalf of our client for his serious injuries. The client was a minor and names cannot be disclosed as the case was resolved without litigation. -Top- Automobile Accidents. Georgia and Tennessee. Our client's son was killed when riding a go-cart that flipped over. The go-cart came tumbling down on our client's head, killing him. We were able to prove that the go-cart's design was such that it could not be safely driven without it flipping over and the lack of safety restraints resulted in our client's son's death. We were able to prove that our client's son was using the go-cart in the manner that it was intended and the go-cart was inherently dangerous because of its defective design. This resulted in an excess of a $4,000,000.00 verdict against a go-cart manufacturer for the wrongful death of our client's son. -Top- Aviation-Wrongful Death; Cumming Georgia. We were able to obtain a substantial sum of money for our client when her son was killed in a private airplane crash while inspecting the plane that he was intending to purchase.
